With assistance from the Hempstead IDA, we were able to jointly work with the Town and community to permanently close the former Courtesy Hotel site, which had been a blighting influence on the local community for years. The IDA’s economic benefits program enabled us to transform a blighted parcel into an exciting, transit-oriented high-quality apartment community.

West 130 is a new transit-oriented apartment community, currently under construction on a 3-acre infill site located in the Town of Hempstead, adjacent to the West Hempstead Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) Station. The community will consist of 150 apartment homes in one 4-story podium-style building; approximately 5,000 square feet of leasing and amenity space; and garage parking.
